A renewable resource
May 24, 2021
As many of us in the US, and some around the world, are emerging from the confines and hardships of the pandemic, the future finally feels like it's opening up. But we're not quite the same people we were going in.
Social butterflies may have discovered their inner introvert, while self-identified introverts may have realized how much they need community.
Parents and non-parents have wrestled with caregiving responsibilities and reckoned with what's really most important to them.
In the wake of the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and other Black Americans at the hands of police, many White Americans have awoken to the horrors of racial injustice. At the same time, many BIPOC Americans have continued to endure discrimination and systems that are unfairly stacked against them.
Some of us have suffered great losses. Many of us have found a deep well of resilience we didn't even know was there.
And now, as the ground underneath us is shifting, we're facing some questions and choices...
With the pace of life picking up and more workplaces going back in person, what do we really want our lifestyle to be? What's sustainable?
After losing a job, stepping back from the workforce, or simply feeling over-worked and under-appreciated, many women (and others) are considering what's next. How can we use our time and talent wisely, and feel fulfilled?
And in an unjust and unsustainable reality, how can we rise to the moment and do our part to create change, while also meeting our own needs?
If you're asking yourself these sorts of questions, you're not the only one.
In my previous work, I was a community organizer who helped catalyze movements to shift discourse and policy on global crises. I found that the most meaningful and effective change came when activists owned their voices, their stories, and their particular strengths – and put them to use for the larger goal.
Now as a coach and facilitator, I do virtually the same thing, starting with inner transformation and then rippling outward.
I believe that in this moment of heightened hope and possibility, we can step into our power and rise up – individually and collectively – to realize the change we want to see in our world, and in our lives.
But only if we fuel ourselves with the most powerful and renewable of inner resources: our own brilliant strengths.
That’s why I'm convening an inspiring, diverse, and supportive group of women and non-binary folks who are ready to take the plunge into a transformative experience.
Find out how you can tap into your Wellspring of Strengths.
As a participant in the Wellspring of Strengths circle, you’ll dive deep into discerning your authentic strengths and truly owning them. You’ll come out ready to make waves — by letting your strengths be seen in order to attract aligned opportunities, and putting them to use for good.
